One World of Warcraft player went out of his way to acknowledge the amazing community and the impact it has had on him.  The post below was created entirely independent of any prompt because the writer was so enthralled by the game and the people who play it.

I've been playing this game for five weeks...

...and I can honestly say that I'm absolutely enthralled with World of Warcraft.

Five weeks ago, my best friend saw that I was getting bored with MOBAs and suggested that I try WoW. I had avoided it in the past due to the subscription fee, but I gave in. And I'm so glad I did.

Everything about this game is so well done. When I play, I feel completely immersed in the world. All of the expansions, especially the current one and Mists of Pandaria, feel so alive.

Not to mention that I feel like I completely fit in with this game. Communities like those for League of Legends are vile, harsh, and cruel, but the majority of WoW players that I have encountered have been kind and helpful. My friend invited me to his guild, and everyone in there has done their best to help me improve---from running heroics with me to crafting epics for me to get me ready to raid with them. Today, I ran a BRF LFR and was consistently 2nd in DPS at only 5 weeks in---and it's all thanks to their kindness in helping me learn this game---something that would never happen in most other online games.

Thanks, Blizzard. I won't be bored for a very long time because of you.
