eSports are not built on one game, and the same coming-together exhibited all across WoW is present in all other eSports games as well. From the mass gatherings of audiences, all coming together to support and enjoy the same event, to the multitudes of teams who celebrate victories or decry losses, there can be no doubt that these games bring people together.
But don't just take my word for it; observe some of these other games in action.
As a fellow gamer, even one who is not as familiar with these particular games, I love to see this sort of response. I can picture myself in the crowd, anxiously supporting my team; I can feel myself on the edge as a battle takes a turn for the worse and becomes nail-bitingly close; I can remember what it's felt like to earn that big win and jump uncontrollably into the air in celebration.
eSports and the gaming community are more than just a collection of individuals behind a computer screen - they are a culture. We are a culture. And we are becoming bigger and bigger every year.
