But like I said, it doesn't always go well. And while much of raiding and group play is about having fun and hanging out, there is an equal importance on the success that can only come from playing with a team and executing plays properly. Wiping on a boss over and over can be frustrating and the video above shows just how it can feel when things aren't going well. As with any team, it doesn't make us any less friends to argue, but when it comes down to it, the raid leader is still the raid leader and needs to make sure things go as smoothly as possible.
When it does go well, though, it's a great feeling! After putting a few days between the video on the left and the one above, our team came back, calm and collected, ready to take the boss down.
As you can see, the same boss that can cause arguing and debate can also cause celebration (and sometimes, confusion!). Notice how everyone is focused, quiet, and determined throughout this successful attempt. Such is the nature of successful group play.
